Yeah was trying to figure out why the tank was different to the spyder one so assumed it was a bobber tank. Interesting to see a HD tank on one. Like you've said before Benno most HD products fits on our bikes!

Hey guys im back finally found some time to jump online
ok so ive been working on the rear fender, and exhaust.
the rear fender was a tricky one, i bought a fender that was way too big online but it was the cheapest one i could find. i had to cut it dow to size and than figure out how to secure it along the sides, i got two metal pieces from bunnings and welded on two washers at the end so i can bolt it onto the frame welded one piece on top of the fender than welded the metal pieces on each side, they were a good size so to make things easier i made a sissy bar out of the ends all i had to do was bend them to where i wanted them and weld the ends.
im not satisfied with the paint job on the rear because i ran out of the dip kit that i was using so i had to improvise a little

with the exhaust i got a kit from motorcycle accessories market in liverpool
i tried a few different positions but they would have to be somewhat permanent so if i had to take them off down the track i would have to cut them i i went with a simple design
this was pretty complicated, i had to measure, mark and cut than repeat, it was very frustrating but once the sparks started flying from the grinder it was very calming the welder i have is very cheep plus i was learning as i did it so it took a bit of time
i still have to check and fix the welds also rap it with the exhaust wrap

Impressive customisation! Looks like tonnes of work, but more enjoyable when you see the final product and know you did it yourself!

haha yeah man, the smallest things take the longest time like a snapped bolt or something stupid that pops up, but yeah every bit of progress just motivates me more

Nice work mate, cant wait to see the end result. How tricky was the sporty tank to fit?

Hey the tank is a universal fit so on the bottom it has two bolts on the front and two on the back, it comes with clamps so it just secures to the frame, So make sure you don't get a Harley specific, this universal tank was $30 more expensive.
