I bought one for about $15. Fairly simple to put on. Just need to figure out what to do with the tube from the engine. I would run it under the tank and have it go under the seat with some sort of catch for any excess oil.
Basically though very simple and cheap mod to do. Also free's up a lot of space under the seat. Should even be able to tidy up some wires under there too with the extra space.

Yeah you will DEFFONITLY had to plump it into a catch can make sure it's a vented one tho you don't want pressure to build and blow a gasket or somthing,I had trouble finding one small enought to fit under my seat so I just made one I will post a pic up this arvo at about 6pm when I get home from work.

Hey guys wanting to add an aftermarket intake but was just wondering how everyone picked their intakes/filters and if there's such a thing as to big or to small, and if there's really any difference between brands?
Also what people have done on what I believe is a return tube that runs from the top of the engine (on the EFI bobber) back into the box?
Cheers!

Essentially there no such thing as too big or too small but for the size of the engines there is no point for anything bigger than the standard air filters that most of us have. Anything bigger would only be because you like the look of it. Just have to get the right size to attack to the air intake manifold so that it is nice and tight and won't fall off.
The return tube as you put it leaks a little bit of oil. So originally you have a box that it was put back into. With a new air filter you won't have that box anymore. What Josh and I suggest is to have it go up under the seat and along the frame and back under the seat and to create a little box yourself. Josh used some old plumbing pipes and closed the ends off to catch any excess oil. Just remember you need to have a slight hole for that to breathe as it "can" cause a backup of pressure and "could" cause the engine to blow. This is not likely but best to be safe!
Maybe Josh can show a picture or what he has done.

Thanks mate big help - Josh if you could post a close up of what you did with the smaller pipe/tube that be great, think I have a few ideas for it but wanted to get some advice on it first, unfortunately the mechanical aspect of motorcycles is my downside, metal fab is about the extent of my knowledge

Benno may remember my ratty Spyder with filter mesh literally clamped over the carb mouths, no intake whatsoever. That's what I used to run on my hill climb car... Stopping bricks and birds entering the motor is all ya need!

So it's been a day well spent. Went and had the slash cut exhaust fitted, then disabled the kick stand kill switch, cheers Josh for the how-to vid and then fitted the custom intake. P.S. these are my first ever mods. IMG]http://i57.tinypic.com/2hcmfck.jpg[/IMG]
