So recently i took a 30 min ride with most of it on the freeway and everything's alright and I park on the lawn at my destination. After about 5 minutes I went to move it into the garage as we were going out in mates car. I turn the key, EFI light comes on as normal and I started the bike but EFI light remained on. The EFI system sounded weird and seemed louder than usual as well but it ran alright. I came back the next day and rode home with the EFI light on but it sounded fine and the bike ran the same as always. Any ideas why the light is staying on? All gears are working fine and battery voltage is good.

SOLVED. Had the bike apart working on making the rear fender look better after taking the stickers (and part of the clear coat which was over the sticker) off for 4 days without turning on. After I put it back together battery was too flat to start the engine although it did turn over. Tried the rear right indicator and the heat shrink had come off the solder work I'd done on the cables and had a short and blew a fuse, went out and bought fuses but also a new battery because i figured it was about time for a new one. Put cable joiners instead of soldering this time with shielding, put new fuse in and the new battery and bike seems healthier than ever. EFI light also gone now so I'm thinking it was a warning light for low voltage?
