Got my 2017 Spyder today. Love it already! I had the turnout pipes fitted before I picked it up, and also the sissy bar. Just waiting on the Chrome Bullet Headlight now. Ive never had a road bike before, and I'm a bit unsteady at the moment, lol but I'm loving it already!

a very simple and common mod you can do with little to no know-how and a few tools (providing you arnt looking at having a passenger) is to move the indicators from the rear guard to the pillion passenger peg positions. all you need is some spanners, Phillips head screwdrivers, maybe a ratchet+socket set, patience and some zip ties. (for the electrical cables as there is a fair bit of length to them once moved) i personally love the look of them on my Daytona as i found at stock they look out of place. but you cant have passengers unless you change them back. you also need to take the indicator off the brackets to do this. just unclip the cables one by one from the connectors under the seat remembering where they went and follow the cable back releasing it from the slots its held in (you may need to do this from the indicator backwards to find the correct connector on the loom), loosen the nut on the back of the bracket and slide the bracket off the end then put the part you slid the bracket off of into where the pillion peg bolts onto, do the nut up and route the cable back to where it came from (the connector near the airbox) tying it together safely near the connector. you may need to remove the seat and side panels in order to get to where the cable connects to the loom as on the daytona its behind/above the airbox. not sure on the spyder but i imagine its similar. dont forget to make sure the cable isnt too tight or touching moving parts (chain tyre etc.) and test the all lights before you ride to ensure nothing is disconnected or not working properly. sorry if that isnt worded perfectly or is too confusing but if you were interested in doing that, theres the basic rundown on what i did. took me about 40mins taking my time and figuring out how i wanted to do it (might take you even less time if your smarter or more hands-on savvy than me lol) Happy Modding!

cheers bud. Yeah i have a few new lights planned that I'm looking at for it. LED Tail light, LED rear indicators, LED wrap around fork indicators and depending on what size fits, either LED or HID headlight mod.
