Howdy.
Ive had a 2014 spyder 350 for about 4 months now. In that time ive done about 600km and the bike has travelled a little over 2000km in total.
Over the 4 months vibrations have caused a few minor issues i've had to deal with.
1# front indicator mounts broken. To fix this I replaced them with bullet style chrome ones and chrome fork clamps.
2# fuel tank rubbing on frame near upper right hand side mount. Fixed this by gently tapping the sheet metal section if the frame with a ball pene hammer so the tank cleared.
3# ignition switch screws came undone causing rattling. Took the cluster mount off the tank. Two of the four screw came out. The others were loose.
4# tail light globe mount screws came undone. This meant the globe was floating around inside the light assembly. Put some loctite on those and re fastened.
Rides beautifully now. No more annoying rattles!
Are there any other areas I should keep an eye on?
Cheers.
Ben.
