Hi all, I've finally gotten around to sorting my full licence out and I'm looking into upgrading. I love the Daytona frame and I'd like to keep it if I can, has anyone swapped the engine out and put a bigger one in? Back in the day I heard you could stick a 750 trumpy in without too much hassle, has anyone actually tried it? My end goal is to have something like this old Pan head look, white walls, straight bars, skimpy rear tire guard and put a bobber style seat on it On top of that I want to stick some cruising pegs out in front of the controls (I'm pretty tall) Pic related, wouldn't mind it looking something like this in the end I've looked into an S&S panhead but not sure if it'd fit, they're not a small engine haha. Any advice is well appreciated! Hayden Attachments:

If you want a Panhead, you are better off building a Panhead imo. I like Hunters, I really do, but the most solid bit about them is the engine and gear box. The frame and accessories are pretty cheap quality. I'd toyed with putting a 650 triumph engine in my Bobber but threw that idea out of the window when I realised I'd be throwing away the best bit of the bike and keeping the worst.
Just my 2 cents.
