Being a complete Nob and passionate about being able to boast that i have pulled down and rebuilt a motorcycle motor myself, just once in my life, I have two Hunter 250 cc motor coded on the left underside of motor DD253CC MM Assumption is that its a Lifan Chinese motor, no manuals on repairs on the Internet, limited stuff on Youtube Which is strange considering the huge volumes sold. For those enlightened, and mechanically gifted skilled individuals, which HONDA MOTOR is it most like, I have removed the valve cover, I do understand the basic principals, but the valve head area does not corresponded with any of the workshop manuals that i have downloaded. AS for practical realities Hunter sells a compete head with valves, conclusion its better to buy, than to play around, labour costing more , than a new unit, or the trouble resulting, if you screwed it up, a sure bet in my case ! But i still would like to know , bolt tensions for reassembly , and what not to do, when getting down to the cylinder rings, and correctly putting it back together May be some one has pics of engine pull down at each stage, to the cylinder rings , for DD253MM, Gearbox area, only for professors, thats beyond my wrenching abilities. Found a website for the diy types on a honda plus other info , teflonmike.craywiki.co.uk/0_Lo_075_Workshop_F_010_CB-TopEnd.htm

Closest Honda engine is the Honda Rebel 250. It's what they were based off of.
