Hey guys. Planning a big ride from Vic to Nsw in a few weeks and need to know what kind of fuel consumption the bobber is ament to have vs what people actually experience. I've ran out of fuel a few times so now I fill up mine at the 100ks or so mark but don't really want to be stopping every hour for fuel. Is the reach ament to be closer to 200ks? And what's everyone experience in hwy conditions?
Cheers in advance!

I get just on 200ks from my Spyder before flicking the switch for the last couple of litres, generally enough to get me to a servo.

I fill up around the 170K range but still have plenty in the tank. Not really tested for exact range yet but pretty sure I could squeeze 200K's out of a tank no worries.

Day to day commuting on my Daytona( average speeds 60-70 ) I will fill up at about the 180k mark and I only ever manage to get another 5-7 litres in the tank to refill using 95 octane. I reckon I'd get over 260km out of a tank around town.
My last day run I filled up at York, WA, and had almost run dry by the time I hit Baldivis, roughly 170km. I filled her with Regular at York as they'd run out of premium fuel. Mind you the ride back we were sitting on approx. 110km/h most of the way.

On my Bobber, using RON 95 petrol, in a full tank, the reserve tank comes into use when 125km of travel was covered whereas using RON97, the distance covered is around 150km. I think the reserve tank covers 20km using RON95. In order to ensure I never run out of fuel, I was trained by a Bobber rider to always fill the tank full then set the mileage meter to zero and use that meter as a guide the moment the reserve tank is set "ON". To get further mileage with the stock tank, I plan to do what another Bobber owner did that is to change the rear sprocket from 34T to 32T with its compatible chain size. Here one loses on some torque but gains on mileage distance.
