From some research I have done, it seems that the tyres on the Hunters from the factory give great wear, yet aren't flash in the rain, what tyres are people running in replacement of them? Make, model and approx cost. Many thanks.

From my experience my factory tires have done 14000 km and have thousands more kms of tread still on them but they are shit house in the rain but if u slow down a bit more they work fine

Like Nathan said, the factory tires are durable. After a year of riding to work and back every day they hardly look like they have been used. I've not found them particularly bad in the wet either to be honest. I've had the back wheel slide a little from time to time but it was never anything major. Just a little loss of grip that quickly corrected itself. Ride smooth in the wet and there is very little issue.
