Looks nice mate. Glad to see you are getting out and riding and enjoying your Hunter.

I've done a couple of small backyard mods. Hollowed out the cats and taken the ends off the exuast. Clicked over 5000km during the week. I wouldn't mind doing a cold air intake like hunter lady.

Yeah i do the chain every 500km or so. I was thinking that the oil filter needs to be cleaned. I think I'll have to check the manual to know how to do that. Most of my riding is free way 100km/h+ so i was thinking of getting the 30 tooth sprocket. I'm loving the Spyder.

There's no oil filter on a Hunter. It's the same design as the Honda Rebel, so what you have is an oil screen instead. The downside to that is that it is a bitch to remove without the right tools. The upside is it doesn't need to be done every oil change like if you gad a filter.

Hello grot i looked up the manual that i downloaded. It doesn't tell me how to remove the screen i should be able to work it out. Do you know what the correct tools are?

You need an impact driver. Here's a video of of how to get access to the screen on a Honda Rebel. Same basic idea on the Hunter.But... if you don't know what you are doing... don't do it. Especially if it doesn't need it.

The screen filter doesn't generally need replacing or cleaning. We have them in stock though. Regular oil changes are the best thing you can do for your Hunter. Thanks for the share Grot.
