Just wondering if anyone knows of more bike releases?? I am keen to get a hunter but I'm 6'5 and 180 kg. So was thinking if hunter will release a learner legal for the fuller man?
Cheers

They are looking into it, but haven't got anything just yet. Perhaps in a year or two they will release something. The 350cc ones still have quite a bit of power so best off getting one of those for the time being until you get your full license.

well your options in the cruiser style on L's is limited. You have a yamaha 650 or 500. I believe there is a honda model similar to the yamaha too. Harley Davidson is bringing out a Learner legal model soon but doesn't look very nice from what I have seen.

Also none look anywhere near as good as any of the 3 Hunter models. Hunter motorcycles also tend top hold their value where as yamaha/honda etc drop several thousand straight out of the shop and continue to drop each year quite a lot.
Don't know about your size but i'd suggest try and take one for a quick spin and you shouldn't have any problems.

Before you buy any bike, take it for a test ride. Might look cool but not suit you at all or might not be comfortable for you. Only way to know for sure is to take one for a ride.
Now some stores won't have one for you to ride. The solution (not sure how you feel about it though), is to find someone selling one and pretend to be a buyer and take it for a ride. Then go to the shop and buy a new one. Or if you want a second hand one then that's fine too but I would recommend getting someone who knows a bit about bikes or even a car mechanic to look it over. They can tell you if there's anything immediately wrong. Although this isn't 100% effective at least your not going to get obviously ripped off.
