Has anyone opted for a diffrent brand of break pad in order to stop them squealing?

I haven't. Though when they are due for a change I'm going to try some pads from metal gear. I've heard good things about them.
30-075 rear. 30-068 front.

Thats what I put on the demo bikes Grot. I also Chamfer the leading and trailing edge with a grinder. The stock pads are way too hard. They'll last forever, but we'd rather less squeak. I usually only change the front ones. Also....use them. I live near the coast and all of our brakes squeak on everything, ride along at 80ish kays with the brake half on and bed it in. It works.
