All you guys are inspiring, sharing and helping each other, this is everything I imagined the Hunter community would become, I always had hope that HMG would become a Brand that would get young people's creative juices flowing. More than just an affordable Bike, I envisioned a stepping stone that would set young blokes toward the enjoyment I've had over the years with mates, strap a sleeping bag on, get to an intersection and flip a coin, road experiences, mates helping mates, etc, etc.. Been reading through this forum and I tell ya', you have all fulfilled my initial goal and for that I thank you, can't tell you how seeing this community grow makes me feel. Being a part of the bike scene for over 4 decades has been a rewarding experience but pages like this puts the icing on the cake for me. Below I attached some memories of my era, hope you don't mind this small indulgence as the Hunter Motorcycle Brand was born from these memories many decades ago. Thank you to Josh for putting this forum together and all of you very much and never stop listening & learning to and from each other and most importantly - NEVER CONFORM We wouldn't ride jappas back then but a camel was ok occasionally(photo taken on our annual Sydney-Barossa Valley S.A. pilgrimage) Below:- Doc Neeson(The Angels) featured our club in a film clip (thats my '78 shovel in pic) Luke(R.I.P.) was Doc's body guard and manager.

The passing of doc neeson is a massive loss to oz rock. The angels were a part of the soundtrack to my and many others youth. I'll definitely be raisin a glass and remembering one of the greats. R.I.P. DOC.

I never got to meet Doc, sadly, but Rick Brewster is a mate, lives down this way now. Was very sad for the rest of the band and the whole of Australia to lose such a talent. They had their ups and downs, but everyone does over such a long time.
