I like the apes. They look good on a Daytona.

Have you found that any of the mods have increased the power at all?
Was thinking perhaps changing the rear sprocket to increase the top end speed on my spyder 350 but not sure if it's worth it. Perhaps there's an easier way to give it just that little extra power.
Also have you found the turnout pipes increase the sound of the bike much? Or even the pod filter?

The pipes definitely increase the sound and note, as to the performance of the pipes i cant say i got them done from day dot right after i herd the stock pipes lol. the pod filter definitely has noticeable difference over stock, acceleration is improved however you will sacrifice some top-end power but still makes it to 120 in no-time at all.
I got my pod from MCA/parts shop was about $15-20 just measure the inlet size before you go down they have heaps of different sizes.

30 tooth sprocket is the best bang for buck performance you can add. I've done it to every Hunter I've had.

Ben where can I get a 30 tooth sprocket from? You got any I could buy off you, or somewhere online I could order?

Thanks, I have a better idea of what to do now. In my Spyder I have a black box that is tucked away under the seat that looks like its attached to the air intake. Is there a filter in that box? or whats in it? Sorry about the questions, im not very knowledgeable on bikes and engines so trying to figure out how they work and what the different parts are.

No problem mate yeah thats the air-box that will need to be removed to ad a pod filter there will also be a rubber hose that comes of the engine and goes to the back of the air-box this is a crank case vent this is so wen exes pressure builds in the engine it has somewhere to release so it gets recirculated throw the engines intake system. (In my opinion this will cost some power due to the burning of oil in the intake but thats a argument for a different day) So you can just swap the air-box straight out with a pod but you will need to plumb the crank case hose some were. For a while i just had a small breather on it as seen in the pic up there^ but because there is so much pressure in the engine you will be blowing oil out the filter and down the side of your engine in no time at all, bit messy lolz. i just made a homemade vented catch can for under the seat witch will catch any oil blow-by. Rewired all my hand controls and hid the wiring within the handle bars themselves, Im pretty happy with how the came out seeing's how they were not made for internal wiring Attachments:
